-  This is Souse a collaboration between my wife Kammie and myself. A vision of regeneration for a once exhausted land by implementing the practice of Daisugi coppiced trees.

The practice dates back 600 years ago to Japanese cultures and potentially further back.
It helped them to not only preserve and regenerate a nearly extinct species of indigenous tree from their area but also served a purpose of building lumber for small to medium housing establishments. This preserves the original tree,
So they could harvest annually without the need for growing an entire forest to only be clear cut.

This is still being practiced in remote areas today, but perhaps we can take a lesson from this ingenious practice of regenerative resource harvesting.
